WRAP AROUND
In 1995, we introduced the original wrap-around weight, and changed the way work was done on the pipeline right-of-way. Designed to simply lower onto the pipe, we eliminated the labour required to bolt up the old style, and at the same time, we eliminated the safety hazards of the job - strains, bruises, and jeeps on the coating. The weight places more weight below centerline of the pipe than above, preventing the weight from rolling off.
Since the introduction, we have supplied more than 200,000 weights to the pipeline industry.
SET AND BOLT-ONS
Keymay also produces a full pipe range of concrete “Set On” and “Bolt On” pipeline weights. Every weight is cast with wire mesh and rebar for reinforcement and a protective padding embedded in the saddle to protect the pipeline coating.
VOLUMETRIC CONCRETE TRUCKS
Keymay operates it own volumetric concrete mixing trucks to provide concrete for our yard and remote operations. We also offer to supply concrete for all other remote or local concrete requirements on a contract, or per cubic meter basis.
Volumetric trucks provide for cost-effective on-site production of concrete. All of the components - stone, sand, cement and water - are loaded into separate compartments on one truck-mounted unit. The components are metered and mixed into fresh concrete in a special auger as the Mobile Mixer unit is being discharged.
