Concrete Coating

Keymay uses the form-applied method of concrete coating. Typical concrete density for weight coating ranges from between 2242 and 2322 kgs per square meter. Concrete thickness is determined by the client’s pipe weight and required negative buoyancy. Services can be completed on site or in our yard.



COATING REINFORCEMENTS

Appropriately sized wire mesh is placed in the center of the concrete to add reinforcement. Fibres may be supplemented to add this reinforcement. Once poured the concrete is protected by hoarding and heat if necessary for curing. Work can be performed year round in any climate.

Keymay can supply all the labour and materials necessary to produce reinforced concrete valve pads, anchor blocks and piers at pipeline stations.
